Therefore, I am providing you my disciplinary history from my law enforcement career with the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office which began in 1994.

My disciplinary history reflects administrative investigations where It was determined that a Policy Violation occurred (defined as "Sustained") and discipline was administered as a result.

I also requested that technical infractions of agency policy be included in this report. Technical infractions are defined by Maryland law (4-101) as "a minor rule violation" and are not subject to release when an agency receives a request for records under the Maryland Public Information Act.

However, I believe it's important all administrative investigations from my record which are Sustained are available for inspection when deciding your next Sheriff.
